Terms of service
Last updated:
These terms apply to the CardLens browser extension, provided by Tomasz Jasek. By using CardLens, you agree to these terms. You can stop using it at any time by uninstalling the extension. For questions about these terms, contact [email protected].
Using CardLens
You may use CardLens to identify and look up cards for lawful, personal purposes. Respect the rights of content owners and the terms of the websites you visit. Using CardLens does not give you permission to copy or redistribute third-party card images, videos, or other content, or to bypass access restrictions.
Results and availability
Recognition results may be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify the card and consult an official source before relying on a result for game rules or tournament play. Loading card images that are not already cached depends on Scryfall’s availability. Features may change or be discontinued, and CardLens is not guaranteed to work with every website or browser.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains how CardLens handles your information and the controls available to you, including how to turn off usage data and error reporting.
Third-party content and licenses
CardLens is an independent fan project, neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Wizards of the Coast or Scryfall. Magic: The Gathering and its card names, text, images, and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party software remains subject to its own licenses, which are included with the extension.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CardLens is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To that same extent, Tomasz Jasek is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use or unavailability. These terms do not exclude liability or limit consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes to these terms
Updates will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be identified in release notes or another appropriate notice. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using CardLens and uninstall it.
